Centuar

Centaurs and Centauresses (detail), by Eugène Fromentin (1820-1876), French painter

The KENTAUROI (or Centaurs) were a tribe of half man, half horse savages which inhabited the mountains and forests of Magnesia. They are usually portrayed with the torso and
head of a human and the body of a horse.

They were a primitive
 race who made their
homes in mountain
caves, hunted wild
animals for food and
armed themselves
with rocks and tree branches.

phoenix

Phoenix

Very little is know about the phoenix and it's origion.
The Phoenix is a mythological bird of great beauty and unique bird that lived for 500 years and was commonly associated with fire.
The phoenix is most recognize not only as being a symbol of dying and rising sun but also it represents the creature of fire for many people. The phoenix's feathers are composed entirely of fire. The phoenix did not have much colors, it could have had brightly colors such as red and purple but the phoenix did have fiery colors, and crimson colors. Since the phoenix had feathers composed entirely of fire it had the ability to control the amount of heat it's own fiery body gives off.  It can also propel huge steams of fire by bringing the large wings together.

The phoenix had a interesting diet it feed off fire, frankincense, aromatic oils and other herbs. It's also said it feed of smaller birds such as griffon or dragons.

It was happy when it's wings are spread and it is diving and souring in the clouds. The phoenix is comfortable only in the sky it occasionally landed to take a break or to view the area at ground level.  When November can it used November winds to help it fly so high. The phoenix never slept, at dawn it would bathe in a cool of water and sing such a beautiful song the gods would hear it.

It gives birth to itself. Nearing the end of its time fame, the phoenix feels the weight of it's time and knows that its end is near. So it builds itself  a nest of species, herds, leaves, and twigs a top of a date palm and rests inside of it, its wings outstretched. Soon the heat of the sun would ignite the nest, and the phoenix inside would burn to ashes and die. Yet under the stars, life awaken inside of the ashes, and with the morning sun a young Phoenix would fly from the nest, to greet the new day and it's new life by lifting its head and singing. After it would fly high in the air feeling young and with strength.
Many people think the phoenix lives stills but every five hundred years, when it begins to weak and old, it flies back to its origin (unknown). There it builds a fragrant  nest on top of a palm tree, and there the sun once again burns it into ashes. Each time, the Phoenix rises up from those ashes, fresh and new and young again ready to live another 500 years.
